Not to be confused with its stronger, harder sister cheese, Gorgonzola Piccante, Gorgonzola Dolce is finger- lickingly soft, delicious and creamy, with a characteristic ‘winey tang’. The name for the cheese comes from a small town in Lombardy where the cheese was first made in the 12th century. Beware, this cheese is highly addictive.
